Hi Tony,

I spent my free time on preparing the enclosed patch which is a single
large patch ( consisting of about 12 individual patch) for ia64
lockdep in Linux 2.6.38. I can break it into logically-applied parts
if you wan to take the most essential part than the whole the whole
patch set.
I've done limited test with the dot.config attached with upstream git tree.

if you can get the patch merged into your test branch, I will commit
more of my free time to get known issues (like strak trace still not
working when lockdep enabled. etc) fixed in 2.6.38 development cycle.
