compile a missing module from kernel tree

Hello,
could anyone save me from recompiling the whole kernel and rebooting, if I need tun.ko?

I think you can go to the top

I think you can go to the top level directory of the sub-system in which the module resides and give make modules command. I have never tried this before but I am guessing that's probably how it should work.
